Ukraine Visa Application by City in Bangladesh
Ukraine has no embassy in Bangladesh. Visa files are lodged only at the Ukraine Visa Application Centre run by VFS Global in Dhaka (Sunday–Thursday, 09:00–17:00, per VFS), and the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi decides them. Why Your City Matters
Ukraine has no embassy in Bangladesh, and the only Ukraine visa centre in the country is the VFS Global centre in Dhaka. Applying from Outside Dhaka
If you live outside Dhaka, your Ukraine visa process has some additional logistics compared to Dhaka-based applicants. Here is what you need to plan for:
BMET registration at your local divisional office
BMET Smart Card clearance can be initiated at the BMET divisional office closest to you — Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, or Khulna divisions each have their own offices. Complete as much of the BMET process locally as possible before travelling to Dhaka.
Travel to Dhaka and plan for at least one overnight stay
VFS Dhaka works Sunday–Thursday, 09:00–17:00 (per VFS). Plan to arrive in Dhaka the evening before, stay overnight, and attend the appointment fresh. Same-day travel from Chittagong or Rajshahi is risky — delays en route can cause you to miss your appointment slot.
Required documents are the same regardless of origin city
The visa document checklist does not change based on where you live in Bangladesh. Passport, certified copy of the work permit, one photo, insurance, proof of funds, the visa form and the consular fee (Resolution No. 118, paras. 5, 8) are the same for everyone. Can I apply for a Ukraine visa outside Dhaka?
