Direct finding
Ukrainian visas are issued exclusively by Ukrainian diplomatic missions — specifically the Embassy of Ukraine in Dhaka — or through the authorised VFS Global visa application centre. No private agent
What to do
- 01.Apply only through the Ukrainian Embassy in Dhaka (91 Gulshan Avenue) or VFS Global Bangladesh
- 02.Verify the current official consular fee at the Ukrainian Embassy website — never pay more than the listed amount to any agent
- 03.Never hand your original passport to an unofficial agent without a traceable signed receipt
- 04.Compare any visa sticker you receive against the official Ukrainian visa format published by the MFA
- 05.Report suspected fake visa agents to BMET and to the Ukrainian Embassy fraud contact
- 06.If you suspect the visa you received is counterfeit, contact the Ukrainian Embassy before attempting travel

Legal consequence
A fraudulent visa sticker is detected by document scanners at Ukrainian border control, resulting in immediate refusal of entry, deportation at the traveller's expense, and a multi-year entry ban. Knowingly using a forged travel document carries criminal liability under Ukrainian law.
