Who We Are

A legal migration practice built specifically for Bangladeshi nationals navigating Ukrainian immigration law. Not a recruitment agency. Not a manpower bureau. Not a visa shop. A practice run by lawyers.

Our Mission: Closing the Honest Advisory Gap

Kyiv Pathway was established to address a specific and consequential problem: Bangladeshi nationals pursuing Ukraine as a migration destination have almost no access to accurate, source-cited legal information in English or Bengali. The information vacuum is filled by BAIRA-affiliated agents and informal brokers whose understanding of Ukrainian law is superficial at best and fraudulent at worst. Workers from Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet are paying 3–5 lakh BDT to agents who have never read a Ukrainian statute.

The gap we saw: a Bangladeshi worker with a genuine Ukrainian employment offer, a legitimate employer, and a real work permit in process had no independent legal resource to verify the documents, understand the process, or protect themselves if something went wrong. That gap is what we exist to fill.

Our advisory-only approach means we do not compete with the recruitment industry — we serve the person whom the recruitment industry often fails to protect. We produce written legal assessments, document reviews, and application guidance. Every output is a document with a paper trail.

What We Are

Kyiv Pathway is a Ukraine-based legal advisory practice. Legal work is performed in Ukraine by lawyers licensed to practice there. Client-facing communication is in English and Bengali. We are not registered as a manpower agency in Bangladesh, we do not source employment, and we do not operate a commission-based referral network. Every client engages directly with our practice — not through a sub-agent.

We provide written legal advice and document support to Bangladeshi nationals at any stage of the Ukraine migration process: from an initial eligibility question before any employer is involved, through work permit review, through visa preparation, and through post-arrival registration. All of this is advisory — we prepare, review, and advise. We do not submit applications on behalf of clients without a written service agreement.

What We Are NOT

Not a visa agentWe do not submit visa applications to embassies on your behalf as a standard service. We prepare and review the application materials and advise on the process. Submission is done by you or your employer in accordance with Ukrainian embassy procedures.
Not a recruiterWe do not find jobs for applicants. We do not have a database of Ukrainian employers. We do not place workers. If you are looking for a Ukrainian employer, we can advise you on how to find legitimate employers and how to verify them — but that search is yours to conduct.
Not an employerKyiv Pathway is not a Ukrainian employer and cannot sponsor work permits. Work permits are sponsored by Ukrainian businesses hiring foreign nationals. We are the advisory practice that helps ensure those permits are legitimate and correctly processed.
Not a travel agencyWe do not book flights, accommodation, or transport. We do not provide airport transfers. We advise on immigration; travel logistics are outside our scope.
Not a BMET-registered manpower agencyBMET registration governs Bangladesh-licensed recruiting agencies that source overseas employment. We are a Ukraine-based legal advisory practice. Our clients need BMET clearance — we help them understand the BMET process in relation to their Ukrainian immigration timeline.

Legal Credentials

All substantive legal work at Kyiv Pathway — document review, contract drafting, application preparation, legal consultation — is done by lawyers licensed to practice in Ukraine. Ukrainian lawyer licensing is administered by the Ukrainian National Bar Association (Національна асоціація адвокатів України, НААУ). A lawyer admitted to НААУ holds a Certificate of the Right to Practice (Свідоцтво про право на заняття адвокатською діяльністю).

We do not describe our practice members as 'migration consultants', 'immigration advisors', or similar titles that carry no legal qualification requirement. The word 'lawyer' in our materials means a person licensed by НААУ. When we cite Ukrainian law — statutes, Cabinet of Ministers resolutions, DMSU orders, State Employment Service procedures — those citations are to the actual source documents, not to secondary interpretations.

Accountability: Written Outputs and Paper Trail

Every service we provide produces a written document. This is not administrative formality — it is the accountability mechanism. Verbal advice leaves no record of what was said, what was recommended, or what was promised. Written outputs mean:

  • You can re-read the advice after the conversation and check your understanding.
  • If the advice turns out to be incorrect, you have a document establishing what you were told.
  • If there is a dispute about the scope of our work, the written service agreement resolves it.
  • If you need to share the assessment with a family member, employer, or another adviser, you have a document to share.

The paper trail is what separates our service from the verbal guarantees and undocumented promises that characterise the fraudulent agent ecosystem we exist to counter. Everything we do creates a record.

Who We Serve

Our client base is Bangladeshi nationals — located in Bangladesh, already in Ukraine, or in third countries — who are considering Ukraine as a migration or study destination. We serve clients from all divisions: Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Khulna, and beyond. All consultations are conducted remotely. Document review is done digitally.

We work with applicants pursuing employment routes (Type D work visa), study routes (Type D student visa), and — less commonly — business establishment routes. We also work with Bangladeshi nationals already in Ukraine who need advice on extending their Temporary Residence Permit or resolving status complications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kyiv Pathway a licensed law firm?

Kyiv Pathway is a legal advisory practice. All substantive legal work is performed by lawyers licensed by the Ukrainian National Bar Association (НААУ). When we say "lawyer", we mean a person holding a НААУ Certificate of the Right to Practice — not a self-described "migration consultant" with no qualifying credential.

Do you have an office in Dhaka?

No. Kyiv Pathway operates from Ukraine. All client work is done remotely. We do not have a Bangladesh office. Any office in Bangladesh claiming to represent Kyiv Pathway without our express written authorisation is doing so without our knowledge or consent.

Can you guarantee my visa?

No. No adviser, lawyer, or agent can guarantee a Ukrainian visa or work permit. Ukrainian visa decisions are made by Ukrainian government authorities — the MFA consular section and the State Employment Service. No private party has the authority to guarantee sovereign administrative decisions. Any service offering a visa guarantee is a fraud indicator.

Are you registered with BMET?

No. We are not a Bangladesh-licensed manpower agency. BMET registration governs Bangladeshi recruiting agencies that source employment and send workers abroad. We provide legal advice; we do not source employment. Our clients need BMET clearance, and we help them understand that process in relation to their Ukrainian immigration timeline.
