Direct finding

Fabricated Ukrainian job offers — typically "hotel staff", "factory worker", "construction labourer" or "delivery driver" — are sold to Bangladeshi applicants for upfront fees ranging from BDT 2–8 lak

What to do
  1. 01.
Request the employer's EDRPOU code and verify at data.gov.ua before any payment
  2. 02.
Demand a video call with a named and verifiable representative of the Ukrainian company
  3. 03.
Search the company name and EDRPOU on Google — a real employer will have web presence
  4. 04.
Do not pay any fee until the employer is independently verified
  5. 05.
Use our Employer Verification service — we check DSZ registration and EDRPOU status
  6. 06.
If you have already paid and suspect fraud, contact BMET and the Ukrainian Embassy immediately

Red flags

RF01Offer received from an agent in Bangladesh, not directly from a Ukrainian company
RF02Job description is generic — "factory", "hotel", "warehouse", "general labour"
RF03No video interview with the actual employer was conducted before the offer
RF04Salary promised is significantly above Ukrainian market rates for the stated role
RF05Agent cannot provide the employer's EDRPOU code on request or becomes evasive
RF06No physical company address that can be verified on Google Maps or EDRPOU registry
RF07Offer was received via WhatsApp or social media, not a company email domain
Legal consequence

Entering Ukraine on a fraudulent work permit basis may result in immediate deportation and a multi-year entry ban. The Bangladeshi agent faces criminal liability under the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking Act 2012 of Bangladesh.
