Where Comilla (Cumilla) applicants submit
There is no Ukrainian consular service in Comilla (Cumilla). All Ukraine visa applications in Bangladesh are lodged at the VFS Global Ukraine visa centre in Dhaka (Ukraine has no embassy in Bangladesh; the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi decides). Plan for at least one trip to Dhaka for biometrics and document submission.
What to do locally in Comilla (Cumilla)
Machine-readable passport (MRP/e-Passport)
Apply or renew at the Regional Passport Office, Cumilla. For the visa, the passport must be valid at least 3 months after your planned departure from Ukraine, with two blank pages, and issued within the last 10 years (Resolution No. 118, para. 5); a TRP later needs a passport valid for its whole term, so renew early if it is close to expiry.
Police Clearance Certificate (only if requested)
A PCC is not on the visa document list; the consul may request it (Resolution No. 118, para. 10). It is applied for online at pcc.police.gov.bd. If a Ukrainian authority asks for a PCC, it needs an apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.
BMET registration & training
Register for BMET clearance; pre-departure orientation is available at the Cumilla Technical Training Centre (TTC). BMET Smart Card clearance is mandatory before departure.
Travel to Dhaka for the visa appointment
Book the VFS Global appointment yourself, then travel to Dhaka for biometrics and submission. Keep originals and your own money — do not hand documents to a local fixer.
Cumilla’s established migration networks also attract sub-agents who resell fake Ukrainian job offers along the Dhaka–Chattogram corridor. Never pay a local agent a lump sum for a “guaranteed” Ukrainian permit — the permit is filed by the Ukrainian employer, not bought in Cumilla.
