ইউক্রেনে বৈধভাবে কাজ করতে হলে আপনার তিনটি জিনিস লাগবে: (১) কাজের অনুমতি — যা ইউক্রেনীয় নিয়োগকর্তা আপনার হয়ে সরকারের কাছে আবেদন করবে। (২) টাইপ ডি ভিসা — যা ঢাকায় ইউক্রেনের দূতাবাস থেকে নিতে হবে। (৩) অস্থায়ী বাসস্থানের অনুমতি (TRP) — যা ইউক্রেনে পৌঁছানোর পর নিতে হবে।
The five-step process
The Ukraine work permit process for Bangladeshi nationals has five distinct stages. Each stage has a different responsible party — employer, applicant, embassy, or Ukrainian government authority.
Find and verify your employer
ধাপ ১: নিয়োগকর্তা খুঁজুন এবং যাচাই করুন
Your Ukrainian employer must be registered with the EDRPOU company registry. Verify their registration number (EDRPOU code) before signing anything. Any employer who cannot provide an EDRPOU code is not a legitimate Ukrainian company. Kyiv Pathway's employer verification service checks four points against official registries — $40, written report in 24–48 hours.
Employer applies for work permit at DSZ
ধাপ ২: নিয়োগকর্তা DSZ-এ কাজের অনুমতির আবেদন করে (৩০–৬০ কার্যদিবস)
The Ukrainian employer submits the work permit application to the State Employment Service of Ukraine (DSZ). You do not do this — the employer does. The employer must post the vacancy publicly for 15 calendar days first. Work permit processing takes 30–60 working days. You cannot enter Ukraine on this step — the permit must be issued first.
Gather Bangladesh documents
ধাপ ৩: বাংলাদেশের কাগজপত্র সংগ্রহ করুন (BMET, PCC, সত্যায়ন)
While the employer's work permit is processing, gather your Bangladesh documents: Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Bangladesh Police CID, educational certificates with MFA Bangladesh authentication and apostille where required, medical certificate from a BMET-approved centre, and BMET Smart Card registration. The apostille chain takes time — start this in parallel, not after the work permit arrives.
Apply for Type D visa at Ukrainian Embassy Dhaka
ধাপ ৪: ঢাকায় ইউক্রেনের দূতাবাসে টাইপ ডি ভিসার আবেদন করুন
With the issued work permit in hand, apply for a Type D (long-stay) visa at the Ukrainian Embassy in Dhaka. Required documents include the original work permit, employment contract, Police Clearance Certificate, medical certificate, and passport-sized photos. Visa processing takes 15–30 calendar days. Book an appointment directly with the embassy.
Arrive in Ukraine — apply for TRP within 15 working days
ধাপ ৫: ইউক্রেনে পৌঁছানোর পর ১৫ কার্যদিবসের মধ্যে TRP-এর আবেদন করুন
After arriving in Ukraine on the Type D visa, you must apply for a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) at the State Migration Service (DMSU) within 15 working days of entry. The TRP is issued within approximately 30 calendar days. Until the TRP is issued, your Type D visa provides lawful status — but the application must be filed within the 15-working-day window without exception.
⚠️ সতর্কতা — প্রতারণা থেকে বাঁচুন
যে দালাল বলবে "ভিসা গ্যারান্টি দিচ্ছি" বা "আমার দূতাবাসে যোগাযোগ আছে" — সে প্রতারক। বাংলাদেশ থেকে ইউক্রেনের ভিসা বা কাজের অনুমতি কেউ গ্যারান্টি দিতে পারে না। ভিসার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় ইউক্রেনের দূতাবাস — কোনো দালাল নয়। কাজের অনুমতির সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় ইউক্রেনের সরকার — কোনো বাংলাদেশি এজেন্ট নয়। যেকোনো নিয়োগকর্তার কাছে EDRPOU কোড চাইতে হবে — এটা না দিতে পারলে এড়িয়ে চলুন।
Realistic costs — what is normal and what is fraud

The government fees for Bangladesh documents (BMET, PCC, MFA authentication) and the Ukrainian visa fee are fixed costs. No agent or lawyer can reduce them. Legitimate legal advisory fees — such as Kyiv Pathway's $30 eligibility assessment or $80 document review — are separate from and in addition to these government fees. Any agent charging BDT 3–5 lakh above these costs is taking a fraudulent markup.
