Government References

The authoritative official sources for Ukraine immigration. These are the only sources Kyiv Pathway uses for legal information. Any agent or website that cannot cite these sources is operating on rumour.

About these sources

Every legal claim on Kyiv Pathway about Ukrainian immigration law is traceable to the sources listed on this page. We cite Ukrainian legislation by law number and Bangladeshi government portals by URL. If you find a discrepancy between our guidance and the official text, the official text takes precedence — and we want to know about it.

When an agent or website makes a claim about Ukraine immigration rules, ask which official source supports it. If they cannot cite one — or point to a specific law number or government portal — treat the claim with scepticism. In this corridor, most misinformation spreads because applicants do not know which sources to check.

How to use these sources

When an agent or website makes a claim about Ukraine immigration rules, ask which official source supports it. If they cannot name a specific law, a regulation number, or a government portal page, treat the claim with scepticism.

Most Ukrainian government portals are in Ukrainian only. Use your browser's built-in translation (Google Chrome auto-translate or Microsoft Edge Translate) for an English version. For legal interpretation, a qualified Ukrainian immigration lawyer is required — machine translations of legal texts frequently obscure important nuances and may render legal terms incorrectly.

What these sources do not cover

Day-to-day operational details are not always reflected in official publications. Current embassy appointment availability at the Ukrainian Embassy in Dhaka, actual queue times at DMSU offices in Kyiv, and specific officer discretion in individual cases are not published in official regulations.

For current operational information, direct contact with the relevant authority is the only reliable method — embassy directly for visa appointments, BMET head office for Smart Card wait times, DSZ for work permit processing queue.
